Eating and Staying at Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan

The local Hida miso was placed on the hoba leaf and cooked on the grill.
 Once it’s nicely toasted and fragrant, we enjoyed it with steamed rice.  This simple dish is amazing!  I purchased hoba leaves at the morning market and I’ve been looking forward to re-creating this dish once my kitchen remodel is done.
