Blackened Salmon with Avocado Salsa

The salmon is pan fried at high heat in a skillet until the skin and outside is nice and crispy
and the inside remains nice and moist and tender. The avocado salsa goes amazingly well with the blackened salmon and I sometimes like to change things up a bit by serving it with an avocado and cucumber salsa where the crispy and juicy cucumber adds an amazing texture to everything. This blackened salmon with avocado salsa is the perfect quick, light and tasty meal to kick off the New Year!
