Cardamom, Ginger & Fennel Tea

Cardamom, ginger and fennel improve circulation, digestion and burn off morning mucous.
This light and refreshing appetizer is great between meals to reset your palate. It makes an excellent spring tonic.
Delicious and specially formulated as a morning tea for Kapha.

ingredients

2 pinchCardamomVata pacifyingPitta pacifyingKapha pacifying
2 pinchFennel SeedsVata pacifyingPitta pacifyingKapha pacifying
1/4 inchGinger (Fresh)Vata pacifyingPitta pacifyingKapha pacifying

preparation

Mash ginger in a mortar and pestle or chop. Grind cardamom and fennel using a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder. Place in cup. Pour boiling water over ingredients and steep, covered, for three minutes. Strain and serve.
