Cinnamon Apple Smoothie

Apple pie meets healthy breakfast smoothie in this winning combination. Cinnamon has
some great health benefits and has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities.

Cinnamon Apple Smoothie [Vegan]

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of natural almond butter for an almond twist on the taste (optional)

Preparation

  1. Core and chop the apple.
  2. Grind the flaxseeds (a spice mill can work well for this).
  3. Add all of the ingredients to your blender and combine until smooth and creamy.
