My Seasonal Allergy Remedies
1. Elderberry Syrup
An allergic response is a result of a challenged immune system.
2. Nettle Powder Capsules
When I was breastfeeding my first child, I relied heavily on a homeopathic nettle supplement to boost milk supply. I did not experience allergies during this time. Nettles are an amazing whole body tonic and immune booster, aiding the body tremendously when it comes to allergens. I take 1 capsule 2x per day during allergy season.
3. Colloidal Silver
Colloidal silver supports the immune system, something I talked more in depth about in the May 2016 edition of The Shaman Life. I take 1 tsp 2x per day during allergy season.
4. Turmeric Capsules
To help support and balance the body's inflammation response. I use 1 capsule 2x per day during allergy season
5. My Seasonal Allergy Support Tea
THIS ONE is the #1 one, must have on my list. I learned that the hard way. On days where I forgot to make this tea, I was hurting big time. This is an herbal tea blend mastered and created by my husband, Tom, an herbalist. It contains: nettle, linden, skullcap, peppermint, eleuthero, catnip, and licorice. I mix the herbs ahead of time, and make my tea for the next day the night before. I drink 3 total cups of this per day, 1.5 cups in the morning and 1.5 cups at night.
6. Energy Flush Visualization
When the allergy symptoms started, I could see in my mind that what I really needed to do was a big time energy flush, but, I felt too crappy to do it myself. I tried looking for a local energy healer in my area to give a girl some help, but was unable to find one. Then, I realized I could ask my guides and angels to help me out. On 3 consecutive nights, I intentionally called in my guides and angels and asked that they please flush and clear my energy, from head to toe. I visualized them standing over me, and then let them get to work. IT WORKED.
7. Local Raw Pollen/Honey
I have found that local raw pollen and honey does help the body's internal response to allergens. Think like a vaccine, of honey and pollen, for allergens. Thank the bees. Raw, unfiltered, and as local as possible. Farmer's markets are your best friend for finding it. Or, get your own bees! I use honey daily in my tea, and take the pollen by spoonful once in the mornings.
8. Neti Pot
My time with the ENT specialists wasn't a complete waste. I learned that because of the level of environmental pollutants that we're now facing as humans, one of the best things you can do is to flush all the irritants out of your body, physically, with sinus irrigation. I did this almost every night for 2-3 years. I used to have an electric system, which is nice, but a regular ol' neti pot works fine. This is the one I currently use and I now flush every 2-3 days.
Here's The System I Use
to start
If you're first starting this regimen at the height of allergy season, do as many of the things on the list that you can manage. This helps get everything under control for the initial flush and immune system bolstering. I did this:
Morning
- 1 TBSP Elderberry syrup
- 1 Probiotic
- 1 dose Cod Liver Oil
- 1 Nettle Capsule
- 1 Turmeric Capsule
- 1 tsp colloidal silver
- 1 dropper echinacea
- 1 dropper elecampane
- 1-1.5 C of Allergy Tea, hot or iced, sweetened when warm (NOT hot) with local raw honey. Gelatin Added to hot tea
- Neti Pot - morning or night every other day only (mostly because I hate doing it, otherwise more often)
Evening/Bedtime
- 1 TBSP Elderberry syrup
- 1 Nettle Capsule
- 1 Turmeric Capsule
- 1 tsp colloidal silver
- 1 dropper echinacea
- 1 dropper elecampane
- 1-1.5 C of Allergy Tea, hot or iced, sweetened when warm (NOT hot) with local raw honey
- Energy Flush Visualization before bed 3 days in a row, then every 2 days
Do this for 2 weeks - 1 month until you start to notice your symptoms dissipating and your condition stabilizing.

For the duration of allergy season.

- Energy Flush Visualization 1x per week
