Banana Zebra Cake [Vegan]
Ingredients
- 2 cups spelled flour
- 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup rapeseed oil or coconut oil
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or date syrup
- 1/2 cocoa + 2 tablespoons unsweetened soy milk
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F top and bottom heat
- Grease loaf pan or baking paper
- Puree the banana in a blender or crush with a fork
- Place all dry ingredients in a bowl
- Then add the liquid ingredients and the banana and stir
- Split dough in half
- To one half, add the cocoa and soy milk
- Then place one tablespoon of light dough in the middle of the tin. Then add tablespoon tbsp of dark dough to the light dough.
- Repeat until the dough is used up to
- 50-60 minutes Bake
- Let cool. Cover the cake with chocolate
- Topping - walnuts and pistachios or the topping you like
