These burgers could not be easier to make! You just season the meat as desired, form it into thin patties, top with guacamole followed by another patty and the patties are pinched closed on the sides to contain the guacamole and prevent it from bursting out. Everything is then wrapped in bacon, both to help restrain the guacamole and to help keep the burgers nice and juicy when grilled...
Bacon Wrapped Guacamole Stuffed Burgers
Grilled burgers wrapped in crispy bacon and stuffed with cool and creamy guacamole!
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
- salt and papper to taste
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- 8 strips bacon
- 4 buns
- 4 slices cheese
- 1/2 cup pico de gallo
- Mix the ground beef salt and pepper, form into 8 1/4 inch thick patties, top half of the patties with 2 tablespoons guacamole, place the remaining halves on top, pinching the sides shut and wrap each burger with 2 strips bacon.
- Grill the patties over medium-high heat until the bacon is crispy and the burgers are cooked to the desired level of doneness, about 3-5 minutes per side.
- Optionally grill the buns and melt the cheese onto the patties or buns.
- Assemble the burgers with platy of pico de gallo and enjoy!
