CHOCOLATE-Y SUNFLOWER BUTTER PSYLLIUM SHAKE
Ingredients:
2 servings Clean Chocolate Daily Shake or Cleanse Shake
2 cups cashew milk
2 cups ice
2 tablespoon raw cacao nibs
1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter
1 tablespoon hemp hearts
1-2 teaspoon psyllium husk
Optional: 1-2 dates for added sweetness
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Blend on high until psyllium shake is creamy and smooth. Serve immediately.
WHAT IS PSYLLIUM HUSK?
We’ve included a special ingredient in this smoothie – psyllium husk. This is a type of fiber made from the plantago ovata plant’s seeds. The type of fiber in psyllium husk absorbs water in your digestive system, helping to promote regularity. It is also a prebiotic, meaning it helps feed healthy gut bacteria. We used Organic India’s Pre & Probiotic Psyllium Fiber in this recipe.
