Papaya has a flavor that immediately transports you to a beach vacation. In its prime during summer, the fruit is juicy, refreshing, and at its nutritional peak. This papaya smoothie is the perfect way to enjoy its hydrating properties during warmer months.
PERFECT PAPAYA SMOOTHIE (WITH GINGER)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
1/2 large papaya
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1 lime
1/4 cup fresh mint
1 cup ice
1 Plain Cleanse Shake packet or Plain Daily Shake
Directions:
Cut papaya in half lengthwise. Scoop out seeds. Remove flesh from skin and put directly into the blender.
Peel ginger. Slice lime in half and juice (discarding seeds). Remove mint leaves from the stem.
Add coconut milk, ginger, lime juice, mint, and ice to the blender. Blend on high until creamy and smooth. Serve the papaya smoothie immediately.
