This apple salad recipe is a twist on the traditional Christmas recipe, but for people looking to eat healthier and with less sugar or calories. LIGHT CHRISTMAS SALAD
Ingredients
6 Portions
- 4 apples
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tablespoons lemon
- 1/2 cups walnut, finely chopped
- 1 cup pineapple, cut into medium cubes
- 2 cups greek yogurt, sugarfree
- 1/2 cups raisin
- 1/4 cups condensed milk, with 50% less sugar
- enough peppermint, to decorate
Preparation
Peel the apples, cut them into medium cubes and reserve in a bowl with water and a few drops of lemon.
Strain the apples and add them to a bowl along with the walnut, pineapple and raisins. Mixture.
Add the Greek yoghurt and the condensed milk. Integrate all the ingredients well.
Serve on a salad plate and garnish with fresh mint. Accompany your dish with a delicious cold Christmas punch.
