The Best Oil Free Vegan Chocolate Microwave Cake
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
1 tbsp + 2 tsp cacao powder
1 tbsp tigernut flour (or almond flour)
1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3 tbsp unsweetened plant based milk
1 tbsp natural nut butter
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp dairy free chocolate chips
Melted chocolate (for garnish, optional)
1 tbsp + 2 tsp cacao powder
1 tbsp tigernut flour (or almond flour)
1/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3 tbsp unsweetened plant based milk
1 tbsp natural nut butter
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp dairy free chocolate chips
Melted chocolate (for garnish, optional)
STEPS
- In a mug, combine flour, cacao powder, tigernut flour, baking powder and salt. Mix using a fork.
- Add plant based milk, nut butter, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix well until homogeneous.
- Fold in dairy free chocolate chips.
- Microwave for 1 minute. Let cool slightly and enjoy as is or with melted chocolate on top.
