You can't leave this recipe for Mexican caramel flan out of your pastry recipe book. This is a classic inside Mexican cuisine and it'super easy to make! Your whole family with love it!
MEXICAN CARAMEL FLAN

Preheat the oven to 175 °C (338°F)
Place the sugar in a pot over medium heat until a caramel is formed; pour it before it cools over the custard pan and set aside.
Blend all the ingredients until they are well incorporated, add to the mold when the sugar it's cold and solidified at the bottom of the mold.
Put it in the oven in a bain-marie (inside another mold with some water) and watch that no water enters the flan. If you do not want to brown it, cover it with aluminum foil.
Bake it for 45 minutes at approximately 170 °C (354°F) until you insert a knife and it comes out clean. If at that time you want to brown it, remove the foil and let it brown for 10 minutes. Take it out and let cool. Refrigerate and release from the mold, enjoy it cold.
