Cut a small heart into the middle of half of the hearts
(Any dough that you have left over, you can make small hearts with and sandwich them together with ganache)
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and place in the oven for 12-15 minutes
When cooked- take out of oven and place on a cooling rack
When cool, sandwich together the hearts so that you have the heart with the small heart cut out on the top, so that you can see the ganache filling
Finish by gently dusting the cookies with icing sugar
Enjoy with a glass of milk or something a bit stronger …
