Normally, pumpkin pie isn't green, but we'll make an exception for this nutrient-packed smoothie bowl. If you don't have some of the superfoods listed below, feel free to omit them, but the pumpkin is mandatory!
Pumpkin Pie Green Smoothie Bowl [Vegan]
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 tablespoon spirulina
- 1/4 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1 tablespoon super greens powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 thumb-size knob ginger
- 1 tablespoon wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon mesquite powder
- 1 tablespoon coconut cream
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
- Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve topped with pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, hemp hearts, goji berries or any other fruit you desire.
