Makes about 1 1/2 cups syrup
Toasted Rice Syrup
- 1cup sweet rice (sometimes called glutinous or sticky rice)*
- 1cup evaporated cane juice (or substitute granulated or turbinado sugar)
- 2cups water
- 1teaspoon vanilla extract
Toasted Rice Chuhai
- 1 1/2ounces Jinro Soju
- 1 1/2ounces toasted rice syrup
- 1/4 to 1/2teaspoons rice vinegar (or substitute lemon juice)
- Ice
- Seltzer
