This recipe is super simple and makes an excellent side or main dish!
Baked Leek and Onion [Vegan]
Ingredients
- 1 leek
- 2 red onions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 430°F.
- Cut the onions and the leek in 1-2 cm slices. Place the green parts of the leek on the bottom of the pan and arrange the slices on top.
- Add olive oil and spices on top of it and bake them with the tray covered till the vegetables are done, until you're liking.
Notes
Cooking time is up to your preference, depending how soft you like your vegetables. About 10 to 15 minutes for al dente.
