A Thanksgiving leftover 'grilled cheese sandwich' where the slices of bread are made with
flattened stuffing and the sandwich is full of cheese, turkey and cranberry sauce! Yum!ingredients
- 1 cup cheese, shredded
- 2 cups stuffing
- 4 ounces turkey breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons gravy
directions
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese into a pan over medium heat followed by 1/2 of the stuffing, pat the stuffing down into something that loosely resembles the shape of a slice of bread, top with 1/4 cup cheese, the turkey, cranberry sauce, 1/4 cup cheese, the remaining stuffing and cheese and carefully press down until flat before cooking until both sides are lightly golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 2-4 minutes per side.
- Enjoy warm topped with the gravy!
