since the body, mind and spirit are really one sweet organism. Spinach offers iron and other micronutrients, banana is rich in potassium, rice milk contains manganese and selenium and cucumber is hydrating. Feel free to add some collagen if you find it works for you (the science on consuming collagen is still out, but some people swear by it—so just go with what feels right for you).Green Smoothie for Glowy Skin [Vegan]
Ingredients
- 1 cup (30 g) spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup (237 ml) rice milk
- 1/4 cup (30 g) cucumber, chopped into 1-inch (2.5-cm) pieces
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vegan collagen powder (optional)
Preparation
- Wash, peel and chop the produce as needed. In a blender, add the spinach, banana, milk, cucumber, maple syrup and collagen (if using). Blend until smooth. Add an ice cube or two, if desired.
- Enjoy right away!
