This ‘Blue Moon’ Latte it’s not only enticing but also full of health benefits for our bodies.
It’s a perfect way to end your day with a caffeine-free cup of latte. The special tea that is used to make this lovely latte is the butterfly pea tea.
Blue Moon Latte [Vegan]
Ingredients
- 1 cup plant-based mylk (coconut)
- 1 teaspoon organic dry lavender flowers (food grade)
- 1/2 teaspoon swerve sweetener (erythritol based)
- 1/2 teaspoon organic non-alcoholic Madagascar vanilla
- 1 teaspoon butterfly pea flower powder
Preparation
- Warm up the mylk in a small pot –simmer on low recommended 95° F (35°C), then add the lavender flowers – cover the pot & leave for 10 -15 minutes to infuse – strain.
- If you would like to serve your cup of latte warm, place the small pot back on the stove at a low simmer.
- Add the butterfly pea flower powder, sweetener, vanilla, and mix well with a hand frother or a whisk.
- Serve in your fanciest cup, and enjoy!
Notes
The tea in itself is reviving, and it can be enjoyed as a standard cup of tea, similar to the green tea. By drinking this tea, you can benefit from several health benefits – a decrease of internal inflammation, anti-ageing, energizing properties and so many others.
