
The Christmas dinner will be complete with a cocktail bar. Prepare this cranberry mojito recipe and you will have a very refreshing drink, which will also go very well with your dishes. For a more concentrated flavor, use spiced rum and, if you wish, you can substitute peppermint for mint.
CRANBERRY MOJITO
Ingredients
4 Portions
- 1/2 cups cranberry
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cups peppermint
- 1/2 cups lemon juice
- enough ice
- 4 ounces white rum
- 2 cans Canada Dry® Cranberry Ginger Ale
- enough lemon, sliced, to garnish
- cherries, to garnish
Preparation
Cook cranberries with sugar and water over medium heat for 10 minutes until cranberries are tender. Let cool, then blend and reserve.
Pour the cranberry concentrate in a glass and add spearmint leaves and lemon juice. Mash the spearmint leaves gently. Add ice, rum, and top glass with Canada Dry® Cranberry Ginger Ale.
Garnish with a slice of lime and cherries.
