CHICKEN BREAST HAWAIIAN STYLE WITH BACON
Ingredients

- 1 package Smoked FUD® Bacon, chopped, 250 g
- 3 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped, for the sauce
- 2 tablespoons ginger, finely chopped, for the sauce
- 1/4 cups lemon juice, for the sauce
- 1/4 cups ketchup, for the sauce
- 1/2 cups soy sauce, for the sauce
- 1 cup raw sugar, for the sauce
- 4 chicken breasts, cleaned and without the skin
- 2 tablespoons butter
- enough salt and pepper
- 3 cups pineapple, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cups Manchego cheese FUD®, grated
- 1 cup red onion, filleted
- 1/4 cups cambray onion, , only the stems, chopped
Preparation
For the teriyaki sauce, heat a pot over medium heat and cook the Smoked FUD® Bacon until it browns, add the garlic, ginger, lemon juice, ketchup, soy sauce and mashed sugar. Cook until it reduces and you have a bright sauce. Reserve.
Heat a pan over medium heat with the butter, sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, season with salt and pepper, cover with the glaze and cook until they are done.
Add the pineapple, sprinkle some FUD® Manchego cheese and continue cooking so that it melts at the same heat.
Serve the breasts and serve with purple onion and onion rings.
