GOLDEN APPLE CRISP [VEGAN, GLUTEN-FREE]
INGREDIENTS
- 8 peeled and sliced apples
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 and 1/2 cups of brown sugar
- 1 cup gluten-free, all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon pink salt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup + 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
PREPARATION
- Slice apples and add to a deep baking dish.
- Mix the dry ingredients together in a medium-sized mixing bowl and set aside.
- Melt oil and add the rest of the wet ingredients.
- Pour the melted mixture into the dry ingredients and mix.
- Top the sliced apples with this crumble mixture and bake at 375°F for 30-35 minutes or until the crumble becomes golden and apples are tender.
